Description of the product
Solar Powered Thermal Energy Storage System (SPTESS) is an economically viable solution for the efficient utilisation of Dynamic Tariff concept to achieve high financial benefits in the building space cooling applications by harnessing the abundantly available Solar Energy. The basic concept is enabling the operation of the energy intensive chiller during sunshine hours (or) other permissible hours approved by respective Power Agencies (10 pm to 6 am in Tamil Nadu by TANGEDCO) to utilise the exported Solar Energy. This will enable to generate and store the cool energy at a lower cost and utilise the stored cool energy for the peak load requirement (When the Tariff is high).
