Description of the product
Solar Powered Thermal Energy Storage System (SPTESS) is an economically viable solution for the efficient utilisation of Dynamic Tariff concept to achieve high financial benefits in the building space cooling applications by harnessing the abundantly available Solar Energy. The basic concept is enabling the operation of the energy intensive chiller during the sunshine hours (or) other permissible hours approved by the respective state Power Agencies to utilise the exported Solar Energy when the electricity tariff low (For Example 10 pm to 6 am in Tamil Nadu by TANGEDCO). This will enable to generate and store the cool energy at a lower cost and utilise the stored cool energy for the peak load requirement without the operation of the chiller (When the Tariff is high).
